There is more in favor of our location at Staufen than close links with the region, the sense of responsibility for our vicinity, or the desire to structure our future as a company from here. For all that IKA^® not only controls worldwide from Staufen but also sees it with all its strengths as a global example for the IKA^® group. The head office in the southwest of Germany is and remains the heart of our research and development departments. The over 360 employees here produce more than half of our turnover.

This means that IKA^® is one of those rare examples of positive gains from globalization that benefits its growing number of employees in Germany. Because this strong corporate development is the result of our creative product development and the best reason for having our own Design Center at our head office in Staufen. Around 50 creative thinkers from the total workforce of more than 360 are involved exclusively in product development. With our own graphic artists and designers, industry and product specialists, who set high standards for further advancing the lead enjoyed by IKA^®.

IKA®-Works Wilmington Founded in 1985, IKA® Works in Wilmington, North Carolina, is the Group's bridgehead for North America. Over 60 employees develop and produce IKA® quality for the American market. Thanks to its economic success and creativity, IKA® Works USA has become a major player in the IKA® Group.
IKA®-Works (Asia) Sdn Bhd, Malaysia Founded in 1995, IKA® Works Asia in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, employs approx. 50 staff and is responsible for the whole of the Far East region. This subsidiary is a gateway to the booming Asian markets and sells IKA®-WERKE's range of products under the market conditions of the region.
IKA®-Works Guangzhou, China At the end of 1998 the second production plant after the parent factory in Germany was set up in Guangzhou in China. IKA® Works Guangzhou manufactures and sells products almost exclusively in the Chinese market. A future investment which is already bearing fruit today, this has become one of the fastest growing plants.
IKA® in Japan Founded in 1999, IKA® is represented in Japan (Nara), underlining the importance of this country for the company.
IKA®-Works do Brasil Ltda., Brazil Founded in 2001, IKA® do Brasil in Rio de Janeiro is the IKA® Group's youngest subsidiary and now supplies the Central and South American market.
IKA® Werke GmbH & Co. KG Liaison-Office India IKA® Korea Co LTD The most recent Sales Branch Offices have been opened in India and Korea.
